Our Story
After my visit to India, I was deeply inspired by the weaving of handloom kanchipurams. Having been fascinated with every aspect of the textile industry and the historical aspect, I was encouraged by family and friends to pursue this interest. During our trip to India, we had the pleasure of visiting many communities where the early weavers emerged from, Kanchipuram & Salem. As these rural communities heavily depended on the income of handloom sarees, it became evident that the skillset was scarce and more and more of these craftsman were indulging in other better-paying stable careers.
